So I have been trying to think of things to blog about other than family trips and holidays and have had no real luck thinking of good ideas...until an event that occurred yesterday made me think...
Last night I had a meeting with a member in the bishopric of our new ward and since it is a new ward I'm still a little unfamiliar with where everything is in the building. As I walk into the church house to where I think the bishop's office is, I see no faces I recognize. So rather than walk around aimlessly and waste time hunting for my bishop's office, I decide to ask another bishop sitting in his office, if he knew my bishop and where I might find his office. This other bishop was more than willing to help and easily pointed me in the right direction, after which he said, "Oh and I'm pretty sure your ward's activity night is tonight (referring to the mutual age kids)." I just kind of smiled, said thanks and walked away.
Now I will confess that the first time I was confused for a teenager in junior high or high school, I was a little bugged, but now since it happens sooooo often...I find it pretty funny and have decided to use my young looking face to my advantage. Here are my ideas so far....
1. Getting a discount in airfare...under 18 get the child discount.
2. Getting into amusement parks at a cheaper rate
3. Maybe I could even get cast in the next Twilight movie series as a Forks High School student (I wouldn't mind being an extra...make a little extra cash right?)
Not a long list, but I guess that's all I have been able to come up with so far...however I'm definitely open for suggestions :) No, but seriously if any of you have similar stories I would totally love to hear them, maybe it would make me feel a little better...help me think that I'm not only one this kind of stuff happens to. Of course... you all probably look your age...Any who, I have so many stories that I could probably post about 10 different blog posts about each one. Leave your comments and maybe we'll all end up feeling a little better about ourselves ;)

haha that funny, i get it allllll the time, when im driving bus and im picking up the elementary kids and there parents drop them off at the bus stop, the parents like look at me like im a junior high student that stole the bus or something. I have had a few parents come and ask how old i was and if i was old enough to drive and once one asked me to prove i could drive a bus and if i had my license! But thats just the most recent ones iv had it happen alot... your not alone :)
I've got a good one.... So, this must have been Brandon and I's 4th date or so. He picked me up from Ogden and we drove to The Mayan to have dinner. They had this lady that went from table to table and made shapes with ballons. When she got to our table she made a flower for me. Well, while she was making the flower so goes and says "you guys are so cute. How old are you? 16?" 16?!?!?! Ok, maybe I looked 16 but, Brandon? Are u serious? He was 22! So ya....we r a 16 years old married couple :)
