Father's Day!

So this Sunday was Ryan's first real Father's Day! Last year we celebrated it, but he wasn't quite a father yet. This year has been one of the craziest, busiest, yet one of the most memorable years in our marriage so far. Our once little tiny baby is now going on 11 months! I can't believe it. Kaya growing up so fast seems to have flown buy a lot quicker than my actual pregnancy. Too bad it can't be the other way around huh! Anyway for this post I just wanted to let especially Ryan and everyone else too, what a wonderful husband I have and what an awesome dad he really is!

Kaya loves her dadddy. He's the only one who can throw her around like a baseball and get away with it. Ryan can also make Kaya laugh at the some of the weirdest and stupidest things. For example, on Father's day (Sunday) While in in the Kitchen throwing together some last minute gifts for our dad's, I hear the cutest giggles coming from our bedroom, followed by a loud, over exaggerated sneeze. Of course, when I hear Kaya's laugh I go running to see what her daddy is up to. When I peak around the door, I see Ryan looking like he is going to sneeze one long over due sneeze....he then pauses for a quick second...looks at Kaya, who is now grinning at him in anticipation...he then releases the loudest, most drown out (fake) sneeze I have ever heard. Kaya erupts in uncontrollable laughter. Ryan keeps doing this for awhile and would get get the same response from Kaya about every time. It was pretty cute! I wonder where he comes up with the things he does to get a laugh out of her. I never get quite the same response when I try to do silly things. Kaya just looks at me like, "Mom please you know you're not as funny as Daddy." Hey but at least I try right :)

So anyway, Ryan thanks for changing diapers, giving baths (and not just any bath, bath's Kaya refuses to get out of),taking naps with, and loving our little girl! You are a wonderful dad and husband! I don't know what I would do without you! Love you hun!
