Alright so it's been FOREVER since I last updated my blog! I'm not even sure if anyone other than my sister reads this, but Amanda I'm updating for you sis, because we've had this conversation many times! (And quite frankly my sister is a wonder mom too so really I'm kind of on my own here).
Now I'll admit I probably blog stock more than I actually update my own blog, but ya know, lately reading other people's blogs just makes me depressed. Everyone is so on top of things and crafty and pretty much...just all out amazing...then there's me...little ol me who is lucky if her two year old's drawing doesn't look better than hers and is lucky to get dressed by 3 in the afternoon. I'm not kidding I am so far from being crafty and homemakey that I'm perfectly content going to Quilted Bear and spending $30 on some home made hat...not saying that I do...but I'm just saying. And I'm not trying to make any one of you wonder mom's feel bad, but could you kind of tone it down a notch. Not all of us (me) can do it all you're making us (me) look bad...just saying.
On another note Easter was so much fun! We had my sis and her kids here for a week and it was a blast! I've missed them so much since they left. I'm super sad that they'll be moving clear to North Dakota in a month or two...I really wish they'd just move to Utah already!! Amanda you're moving in the wrong direction!
Also, today I took Kaya to the dentist for the first time. She did so GOOD, I'm such a proud mama. She didn't kick or scream or throw things (yes my child does do this every now and then). She was an angel with the dentist and unfortunately she does have on cavity, but I'm just glad we caught it early.
And apparently it's Mother's Day on Sunday so Happy Mother's Day to all you mom's out there...even you super moms...I guess ya'll deserve it the most!! ;)
Sorry there aren't more pics from Easter etc. but I'm telling ya, I'm no good at this mom thing, I don't even take pictures of my own children! Oh well I guess we'll live...

Oh Alyssa you are so funny, and a very good writer by-the-way...seriously you should write articles for the paper or something cuz you always put things perfectly and make me laugh too. I know what you mean about the super-mom blogs...I definately wish I too could make crafts, have a perfectly clean house, create recipes and homemade meals every night and have 3 quiet charming and always well-behaved children, but lets face it I'd rather buy homemade crafts too haha and my 3 little tornandos keep me doing my best just to remember to brush my teeth everyday and yep boxed macaroni and cheese for dinner tonite, oh yeah! I'm glad to know there are others out there who feel the same as I do...and I'm so sad we're moving so far away, but we cant wait to see you guys in a month...and THANKS FOR THE BLOG UPDATE!!

Lyss, I think that you are a great and wonderful mother! You shouldn't think anything less of yourself! Just because you don't get all the things the world expects of us done, doesn't make you anything less then a super mom! We all wish that we were better at something! I sure wish I was. I love reading your blog and being able to keep up with you guys! I wish we got together more often! Hopefully we can this summer!
